Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
it's supposed to stay on without a pc connected to it, there's the self test "box" that floats around.
also, I dont think I can get enough time to plug it into a pc, it shuts off so quick

Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
well, it literally just shuts off, I turn it on, the self check thing comes up, 10 seconds later, it goes off, clicking the power does not do anything, I have to unplug the main power a wait a little before I can power it back up again :/

Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
I'm back. I got the new tubes in and left it powered on (just the tubes plugged in) for 30 mins and it didnt shut down, so I reassembled everything and plugged it in to the wall, about a minute later, it shut off, any ideas?

Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
welp, 1 hour has passed and the backlight from my old monitor is still on (damn, this thing is bright) so I guess I just have to order new tubes and replace them?
Update:pulled both the tubes out but broke both of them, they are stuck in really tight ._.Last edited by Razroid; 07-30-2014, 02:50 PM.

Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
Right, I remember seeing that self test thing (floating box). so I'll just plug it in for an hour or so and hope for the best...

Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
alright, so I just run it without connecting it to anything else? like a computer or anything so that it does not fall asleep?...

Re: Faulty Dell ST2210
so do I just connect the psu board to the driver board, plug it into the wall, plug the tubes from the other monitor to the board and then wait?...
