I was given this TV as it was not working. the power LED would liight up, but then pushing the power button, would get no display and the power light would fade out. I read on this forum and other places that it was likely something on the main board, whether the EEPROM or otherwise. I simply went on Ebay and bought a replacement main board "seller refurbished, so a dice roll there, I guess.

So I got the replacement board, and it powers up and seems to work, but then it starts turning itself off randomly. (sometimes when changing inputs, but mostly just random) I have to unplug...

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I have the exact same unit with the same problem.... did you replace the main board or just the power supply board?
