Thanks for the info. I had a Samsung with tab bonding issues once it was a bit different though as it would not go away without pressure. The Sony always goes away after 5-10 minutes and never returns until the TV has been off long enough to "cool" off.

I didn't see any other threads that had this issue when I searched so I am asking here. Sorry if I somehow missed the relevant thread but I don't think I did.
My TV has the lines you see in the photos when it comes on and they go away all at once 5-10 minutes after power on. The lines are on the left side and dissipate the farther right on the screen you go.... -
