I previously replaced the main board, which was bought brand new to fix the fuchsia color problem.

I tried swapping out the main board with the old one, and it gave the same problem after using the TV for an hour.

Yes, firmware was previously updated to 1.514, which did not make any difference to the black screen issue.

Hello, as the title states I've got a Sony KDL-46EX500 which occasionally has a black screen problem. Here's the full story -

First problem was the volume being stuck at 255 (max) level, which would not change with the remote or controls on the side of the TV. The only way to fix the problem was to factory reset. Eventually this problem went away, but soon the white colours on the TV turned a fuchsia colour. I did some research and it appeared the problem was with the main board. I changed the main board which fixed this problem. The TV worked fine for a few days but then one day...
