Hello selldoor - It did not flicker before it went out. The flicker is still present with the brightness all the way down. I've tried quite a few different combinations in the tv settings, but nothing seems to work. I will try a factory reset next....

Hello - I read (or tried to at least) through all the forums for my tv. My set had gone out a while back. After reading through the posts, I decided to replace the inverters. It seemed they were the cause of most problems with this model number. I replaced those this morning. Screen comes back on and has been on for about an hour and a half now. That's all good. The problem now is that the screen flickers. It's especially noticeable and hard on the eyes when viewing light colors like the blue/white Philips menu screen. Also, the over all brightness of the screen seems low and the lower half of...

Hello - Dean here. Been a tinkerer for a while now. I remembered this site form a while back. Helped me through a rough patch with a samsung. While searching for an issue I was having this time, thought I would go ahead and sign up.
