Hi, I'm hoping for a bit of guidance again. I'm getting 5v standby but no 12v or 24v.
I've checked Vs and out on IC1 and read 0v on both. Looking at the schematic I can't understand where Vs is coming from and what I should be checking next.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks....

5v comes from PSU and is good, hooked it up to a bench power supply, nothing got warm. So I have checked round the circuit looking for where the 5v stops.
the input voltage on chip U8 is at 5v. Vout checks at 0.3??...Last edited by LastMinuteMan; 07-25-2014, 01:29 PM.

Re: bush led24970dvdfhd (vestel_17mb62-1) flashing red led
Yep already done that all test good. Thanks
Just had a look at the v.reg and the pin that measured 0.69v is Vin...So I presume the problem is before the reg?
Just checked pin to pin ohms to ground on the reg. Pin1 (ground). 0.97ohms Pin2 (Vout) 197ohms Pin3 Vin 506ohms?...

bush led24970dvdfhd (vestel_17mb62-1) flashing red led
Hi, I've bought this tv to repair and hoping for a little help. When I bought the tv the owner said it just goes into standby. When I got home and tried turning it on I got the flashing light no pattern just flashes steadily.
The owner as now told me they had it looked at and said they was told it needs a new mainboard (vestel_17mb62-1)...
Anyways I checked tp202 on the mainboard and it is reading 0v and from the manual it seems it should be reading 3.3v to be good. I have checked the voltages going into to mainboard from CN1 and they read as follows

lg pdp42x3
Hi everyone, I've got a LG pdp42x30201 to repair and need some help and advice.
When plugged in the green light comes on and then goes straight to red. I've had the back off and replaced several bad caps on the PSU and still the same.
My next step was to try unplugging the y sus board and z sus board and still get the same green light then red. I then moved onto the main board and with the connector on the top left of the board unplugged the PSU switches on briefly before shutting down.
Would this point to a short on the main board?
