    No, it didnt. I was going to go through all the cables shortly, was just waiting for my 30 minutes since unplugging it so I dont get zapped. I should have got on this sooner but its summer and the outside 'honey do' list is quite long this year

    Hi again, Ive wiggled the cables along the bottom of the set, finding one that reseated itself with a very quiet click, just to the left of the flash glare....hopefully the file loads lol. Is this the LVDS cable?

    I tried entering the diagnostic screen but pressing volume down on the set while hitting 0 on the remote 3 times quickly produced no results. Is this procedure different on the 50" than on the 46" in the video?

    Do I need the TV hooked up to an incoming signal such as the dish or dvd...

  • Panasonic Viera TH-50PZ80U right side black

    Well, as the title says, my 2008 plasma Panasonic has a black right side (looking at the screen). The left side is readable, but being a multitude of incorrect colours and the sound is fine with no blinking red power light. Ive unplugged it overnight, tried again in the morning and same problem.

    My wife was watching tv when it happened, the TV having been on for about 20 minutes when suddenly the right side went out. Ive checked all the exterior cable connections, the only thing I havent tested is our satellite receiver as that would require a lot of shuffling of TV's. The other...

    Hi everyone, like many I'm here because my beloved plasma TV seems to have bought the farm. Ive been pulling my computers apart since I got my first Commodore 64 but Ive never had the nerve, or need, to take a flatscreen TV apart.
