stj - thanks. connected a VGA connector from tv to the laptop and it allowed me to get to the input menu and change. this worked - tv back on!

Thanks tieny. I'm having the same exact issue...my daughter kept trying to change the input to get the dvd player to work and in the process, must have hit the rgb button. I can't get the tv to stay on long enough to get to the menu to change the input. How exactly did you do it by connecting to the laptop/computer?Leave a comment:
