Thank you for the schematics.I'm having a hard time looking for a diagram.There is a transistor near the dc jack terminal causing too much heat. it's pq27 on the schematic. if the transistor was there the dc output voltage are not present. and when i removed it 19v and 9v are present from the source and gate.

one of the component is overheating and I want to know the caused of this problem. This laptop have no power when I switched on both ac/ dc source. Maybe this component (1225c TI 2BI AS3E) or some capacitors has something to do with it. TIA!

Hello, Good day to all! I'm new on repairing laptops. I have a hp compaq laptop here without power when I switch on. I found one of the fet not having any output voltage. Two capacitors and one resistor. Is it ok if I replace those components? Hope you can guide me troubleshooting this problem. I'm just a newbie here. Thanks!...
