Thanks. I posted a comment in that thread. The monitor has been on its best behavior since I gave it a vacuum and gently pressed on some of the clips. I doubt that solved the problem, but I'll open it up and check out the DA to D board connectors.
This was also a good experience as I would like to put an HDMI card in there at some point. I did not order it with one in 2006.

Thanks for the reply. The only computer repair experience I've had is replacing hard drives, RAM and a few PSUs. I'll take the back off and look for the things you mentioned. I'll also pick up a multimeter and snap some pics.

Hi All,
If it matters, this is the commercial series model which is only a monitor; no speakers or TV tuner built in.
The picture has recently 'gone away' during use. This issue can happen after 5 straight hours of 5 minutes of use. The power light will continue to stay green as it normally does and does not give any red blinks.
This happens when using the component and or and PC inputs.
Once the picture has failed, if I turn off a source such as the receiver, the 'no signal message is scrambled in a pink and blue mess along what appears to...Last edited by NickStam; 06-29-2014, 11:12 AM.
