Thank you for the help. The insulating did however extend the delay of normal picture to gradual fading to a bright grey by 2-3 seconds which has me hoping it's a grounding issue and not a ic failure. I will get back to you with voltages when home. Do I follow your instructions intended towards OP, with red marking? Can you also recommend multimeter settings. I'm also a bit uncertain on how to power the tv while accessing the t-con. T.I.A.

I'm experiencing i similar issue. When the power is cycled by pulling the plug it appears perfect, then washes out to greyish white. I tried insulating (with index cards and tape) the frame from the chips on the bottom of the screen that connects the t-con and panel. I also reseated all cables, it looks like I may have the same problem. Did you experience the delayed greeting on power cycle? It is immediate for me after using the remote to power cycle. Have you solved the problem with a new T-con. Thanks
