  • Re: Panasonic TX-P42G20B display problem (no video)

Thanks for the posts selldoor and TW I will try them when I get home. Unfortunately my phone and broadband has now gone down and BT say they will not be coming to repair it until the 19th so I may not be able to reply for a few days. Pleas keep the suggestions coming.I have tried another tv on the wall socket and that plays ok so it seems the signal is ok. For some reason the Freeview is not displaying correctly on the Panasonic although streaming through hdmi displays perfectly.

    Hello Tom
Thanks for the prompt reply. All channels are without a picture. As suggested I tried a factory reset but still no picture. Self check listed everything as ok. Red button works fine. Guide works fine
    Any other ideas please.

  • Panasonic TX-P42G20B display problem (no video)

    Hello
I hope someone can help me with this problem in time to see the rest of the World Cup.
My tv switches on as normal with no blink codes but a message no video appears on the screen.I hear sound and can use all menus but there is no picture. I have tried retuning and can find all stations with signal strength 10. Av button is set to tv. When I select Hdmi I can stream to the TV as normal from an Ipad and an Apple TV box and get normal picture and sound.
Anyone know what is going on please.

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hi everyone, I am from the UK and look forward to being a member of the community. I have spent most of my life discovering how things work and repairing them so hopefully I can supply some advise as well as find some and have some fun.
