hi everyone, I have a Samsung TV that will not turn on. We had a thunderstorm and I believe the TV was hit, after the storm, the red standby light was on but pressing power on the tv nor on the remove will turn it on.

I unplugged it for 30 min and then tried again, no change, and then I unplugged it for a few days, tried it and still no luck.

I took the back off and I do not see any bulging caps.

I believe the surge came in thru the cable, as nothing else on the surge was affected, and a cable modem in the same room had gotten hit.
