So sorry for delay in getting photo up,i hope this works my ring hit 1 or 2 of the 4 little fuse types above the left tab in photo,tv still has sound and backlight comes on but picture faded away,when i disconnect left side of t-con and reboot i get half white screen,dont know if it means anything,thanks for helping Alastair,have i destroyed the screen ?....

Hello,i have Samsung LE46A756R1M lcd tv,which developed a tab bond issue,i stripped tv down and isolated offending tab top left,put a shim between frame and all was good for two weeks,but it went again i found a repair centre to fix tab bond permanently,to cut a long story short,when i was at the tab top left,i hit the little resistor types on the source drivers board attached to tab,with my ring,and picture faded away,still have sound,what im hoping someone with knowledge can tell me what the knock on effect of shorting the drivers,when i disconnect the side that i shorted i get half white screen,what...

Hello,long time lurker,first time post,i had same issue as original post,decided to have a go at repair,found offending tab,top left,made a shim,worked for 3 days,tried second time and as i applied pressure my finger slipped and my ring hit the tiny resistors behind tab and screen went blank,just hoping someone can tell me whether i have ruined panel or maybe just destroyed t-con,reason i mention t-con is before this happened when i disconnected t-con i got white screen,now nothing happens,thanks in advance
