Re: 42PJ350 clicking noise
I used a fluke meter which can test capacitors. I retested the capacitors only one seemed very slow giving a reading. 3300uf read 3815uf.

Re: 42PJ350 clicking noise
Decided to have another go at repairing this set. I was sure it was the power supply. I have changed most of the caps and the most common failing components except the 2 resistors which I checked out of circuit. I put 2 100watt bulbs on the output as per service manual and was going through the other tests when the bulbs came on. Reconnected the connector to the Y-sus board and the tv came on fine. Put the cover on and the tv started clicking again but comes on after about 10 min.
Is it usually a capacitor that would cause this ?Last edited by del3165; 11-14-2014, 11:22 AM.

Re: Samsung LE37A656A1F
I was going to order ChipQuik looking for a uk supplier. Last time I removed a chip like this I used hot air gun. The ChipQuik looks a lot easier....

Re: Samsung LE37A656A1F
I have removed the t-con board. The chip that I think is the
Sg-15 has no writing, it does look a bit burnt. The T-con board is a t370hw02 v6 does anyone know the exact AS-15 chip number for this board ie G U or F etc...Last edited by del3165; 10-02-2014, 08:25 AM.

Re: LE32C450E1W double vision
Here's a better picture of fault. I just want to be sure it's not the main board as it's a replacement from ebay. The previous fault was a flashing standby light....

Re: LE32C450E1W double vision
Yes exact same board.
The t-con is build into the lcd panel on this model is that correct....Last edited by del3165; 07-28-2014, 08:50 AM.

Re: 42PJ350 clicking noise
With both connector off there is 5v on the bottom right connector standby pin . The relay starts clicking when the connector is connected to the main board.

Re: 42PJ350 clicking noise
Changed ic801 l6599ad still no joy. The optical light on the control board comes on when the relay clicks then goes off. The voltage to the control board come on when it clicks then drop back to zero. There is no voltage present on the secondary.Last edited by del3165; 06-03-2014, 01:21 PM.

42PJ350 clicking noise
Hi, I have a LG 42PJ350. There seems to be a problem on the power supply (EAY60912401) the relays keep clicking and the standby light comes on then goes off continually, the voltages at connector p813 come on then go off with the clicking relay. Fuse F801 was blown. I changed the 2 mosfets Q801 AND Q802 which stopped the fuse blowing. I have removed the 2 resistors R927 and R929, both read 22ohms. I have replaced the rectifier IC301 (3BR1565JF) and checked the diode D304 and all the caps look fine. Any help would be appreciated....Last edited by del3165; 06-02-2014, 02:08 AM.
