There some bargins on ebay i got the same model laptop with a bluray drive just hard drive missing for 98£ even the ram was in it. I could of stripped it down n got more lol. Lol i wont do that the laptop gets hot enough running it for hours mixing all night some nights n all day making flyers etc .

I like it as it has an internal soundcard for recording its a good laptop for my uses i bought a second hand ssame model and im running my harddrive in that. Its really hard too find a laptop with 4 usb ports a mic in a line in and a line out and a headphone socket and a hdmi out a vga out and the connectors this laptop has, if there is any other laptops out there with these ports and 8gb of ram or 6gb i havent seen any really when i looked. acer 5920g motherboard replacement
I was going too replace the motherboard on my acar 5920g as tryimg too fix it myself and buying the tools might cost a bit more right now until i get good at soldering.
I was just wondering if its as easy as some pages online say they are not too clear on what too do and i was hoping for some advice from someone with knowledge than just some random page. Thanks any help or advice would be good.
I would replace it with the same bramd n model as mine im not sure kf fine details matter.
And would it work when i put in a new hd and used my factory reset... -

My replacememt laptop i bought arrived today i tried too get the same model n number as the one that has the blinking led power supply problem, so if i took my drive from mine and fit it in this other one would it work okay? As i have a few dj comps comimg up and dont have the tools too fix my brokem one just now. Not sure if there might be a few problems with drivers n registry's and boot. Any tips?Leave a comment:

Hi would you advise me on not buying an esr metere from ebay. Im not seeing many shops thst sell them in the uk does anyone in the uk know where i would get a real one from and a trusted shop seller.
Also do i need any other kinds of meters too check my motherboard for shorts etc .

Ive got this problem too my mate a dad did fix it something with the power supply. Was running fine then went off after a month or so of working fine again. Took it too a diff guy he said i need a new motherboard but have no idea on his knowledge of computers i mean if it was just bad caps why didnt he try replace them? So i would like too test them myself on my acer 5920g. What machine do i need am esr metre for around 80£? Ive also bought a same spec and model number laptop as the one im using too try n swap the drives over if i cannot fix...Leave a comment:

Hi im david im 32 and live im scotland been djing as a hobby since 1997 and did some electrics at collage but didnt enjoy it at the time, i do fiddle about with stuff now n then like computers etc. My acer recently got a problem and i found this site so hopefully i can fix it for my music work.
