Johnk_13, I ended up replacing the board, I got one for a great deal. I didn't have the equipment to properly make repairs to the board. Good luck.

So, just installed the capacitor and had the fuse checked. The fuse was bad, so I went to radioshack and got a fuse, only problem is that the fuse didn't match up exactly. The fuse I got was a glass with low breaking capacity, the one in the circuit card is a ceramic with high breaking capacity. I tried the fuse blew instantly, so I'm hoping that replacing the fuse will solve my problem, no other noted damages. I'll post an update when I get one, let me know if you have any ideas.Leave a comment:

Thanks Budm, I'll try to upload a picture later tonight. Yes, it blew up and all that is left is some parts of the blue. There is charring all around it, but none of the other parts seem to have received damage.Leave a comment:

Howdy, I am trying to get some information (part#/rating) on a capacitor on the Samsung BN44-00424A Power Supply Board. The capacitor is CP803, it blew out and I'm hoping that replacing it will fix my problem. Thanks for any assistance in advance.
