Re: Samsung LN55c650l1fxza screen full of vertical lines
I decided to take a chance with this tv. I placed a foam pad under the main board by the connector going to the t-con, and the lines cleared up. Bad solder joint on the connector or the big Ic next to it. I put the back on and its been working fine for several hours and several power cycles. This main board is hard to find (BN94-02620J)....

55LS4500-UA no video, has sound and backlight
I had high hopes when I picked up this for $50. I am getting 12 volts on both sides of the t-con fuse. I removed the connectors one at a time from the t-con and took pictures. Any ideas besides a bad panel? I tried another t-con with no change....

Re: Samsung Ln40A630M1FXZA radiating lines
enabled the expert adj and still no test patterns. I could not find any firmware for this set. Is there any other way to confirm the panel is good or bad? The main board for this isn't cheep. With the contrast set to 60 the picture looks good, no visible lines, except on the menu screen.

Samsung Ln40A630M1FXZA radiating lines
This set has lines that seem to radiate from objects on the screen and move with across the screen with objects. If I turn the contrast down about half the lines are not noticeable, but makes no difference on the menu screen. Is this another Samsung panel for the landfill? The former owner tried a T-con board with no change. The voltages seem normal....

Samsung LN55c650l1fxza screen full of vertical lines
I am thinking of buying this set to repair. I didn't get a chance to remove the back, but when I pushed on the back around the hdmi connector the lines went away. When I cycled the tv off and on the lines came back. I am concerned that the panel may be bad. Could I have a few opinions?
thanks (I sent a couple pictures)...

Re: Samsung pn50b450b1dxza horizontal lines
I finally got the ribbon seated right. Too bad the vertical line is still there. I am disappointed that I have to part it out. At least I know all the boards are good.Last edited by debugger; 08-26-2014, 04:04 PM.

Ok Ill give it another try. Yes I have 1 vertical line that changes color with the scene. Looking like I may have some boards to sell. Thanks Tom.

Samsung pn50b450b1dxza horizontal lines
This set had no picture all voltages were good except vs. I unplugged the y Main and vs came up to 209. I replaced the y main and the set fired right up.
The set has horizontal lines. I have cleaned and reset the ribbons, with no change. Give me the bad news about the panel or could it be something else....

Re: samsung pn50c550g1fxza
I am still on the fence whether to get this tv. Is this set prone to bad panel connections? Its available for around $50.

samsung pn50c550g1fxza
I have a chance to pick up for cheap. The tv has has a black screen in the left half of the screen , the right side gets a normal picture. Do you think this is a easy fix, like maybe a x buffer. Or could it be a bad panel??
