Thanks TW2005 from me as well.. Got a replacement SC board for 110 bucks and the kids couldn't be happier.. Hopefully this will get me thru the next 5 years...

northwestdad - I installed lock washers ( 3mm ) on all of the screws for the SC, SS, SD, SU and pretty much any other screw that didn't have a lock washer and that got rid of the humming / buzzing sound.. Pretty easy to find at any hardware store for a few bucks.. I can't imagine that it's good for the board and may be one of the factors that's causing the board to fail?? You never...

So I found a replacement SC board for my TV ( TC-P50ST30 ) and I ordered correctly but they didn't send me the right board.. Instead of sending TNPA5351AQ they send TNPA5351AM.. I'll follow up as I know more as I have an email out to the company now.. Link below where I purchased..

@TW2005 - Just a follow up, I couldn't find an shorts between ground and pins at SD42 and SU41.. Is that a good enough test to ensure my SD and SU boards are good?Re: 14 blinks...

Northwestdad - Sorry for your issues as I'm having the same problem you are,, exactly.. Just wondering if you had any luck following up with moduslink.com as I'm having a hard time finding the SC board as well.. WIll probably give it a shot with repair kit they are selling if all else fails

tw2005 - see all of your feedback and everything has worked for but I can't seem to get any reading on multimeter from pins to ground to check the SD and SU boards.. Does that prove there isn't a short?
