    Makes sense. I'll try warming the main boards with a hairdryer first. Then I'll pay a little closer attention to the caps on the logic board. I suppose fro $22 it could certainly still be an issue on the power supply.

  • Hazy display and blurry fonts

    A little background; This monitor was suffering from the old 2 seconds to black issue. I opened it up and found a lot of cap issues and some diode problems as well. I was actually able to find a power supply on ebay for $22 so I bought it and that took care of the power issue immediately.

    Now, when I turn the monitor on the screen has a slightly hazy look, and the font is quite blurred. I've gone through a lot of setup screens (contrast/brightness/hue/etc..) nothing really helps. I've also done the windows font...
