i do know the lights and power supply were working when i did the tear down of the tv but i just cant seem to get it to send a on signal to the balast for the ccflLeave a comment:

thats the power supply and type of tv i got the power supply to turn on now im just trying to get the ccfl's to turn on im not sure if im using the correct resistor to jump bl-on wire i will upload pics in a fewLeave a comment:

I've actually have a question about a power supply it's a noob question really I'm doing a project where I'm using the cfl's from a flat screen the only issue I'm having is I can't seem to turn the power supply on with out the main board connected the power supply has the ballast integrated into the power supply what I need to do is take the power supple find where the p-on is jupiter it to turn it on the activation the cfl but I cant seem to find any reference to it her is the board part number 715g3770 p03 w30 003s -
hamie okay i have a noob question for you i think i have the answer but your a pro so okay i took a lcd power supply out of a tv and am using it to power something totally different now the issue im having is activating the lcd back light inverter now i would short the ps on to start the power supply then i would use a low resister connected to bl_on and short that to 5vsb is that the correct way to acheieve what i want -

first i want to say thank you so much for everything in this thread my TV is now up and running i did get two caps from radio shack i went to the guy cause i asked him if the cap was low esr he could not answer the question the cap was blue though and looked exactly like it should be the same one but i did my research and the cap might have been blue but it should have been black the guy could not even tell me the difference between the color of the caps but anyways i put the two caps in and my TV fired right up after awhile it flickered and the speakers...Leave a comment:

my names light i'm a hobbyist at the least i love tech computers are my forte but i've actually started repairing electronics in general done computer repair in a small shop now i fix electronics for consumers where most shops charge outrageous prices i just charge 20 bucks i believe that everyone is the same and all have responsibility's so the working man should not have to suffer to enjoy what i've loved for years i'm in my 30's when i was 12 showed a teacher how to actually reprogram her now ancient computer this site has...Leave a comment:

need help i have an lcd flat screen i'm a bit of a explorer so im looking to actually convert the ccfl's to led lights my question is as follows for any help i know the leds would need to be adjusted to to brightness settings in the tv itself is there a way to make a controller board to actually accommodate ever thing the tv adjust to make it adjust the leds -

i have an Rca l37wd12 lcd tv i got for a steal 26 bucks when plugged in the tv turns on but no picture or sound i have it apart so when i plug it in i hear the relay click on on the 1w board but nothing a few seconds later there is a read light on the back-light master inverter board that comes on then shuts off the stand by light turns green but after awhile will go back to red any help at all would be greatly appreciated i do appoligize about my bad spellingLeave a comment:
