How do I check this power supply? I have read that the capacitors and/or diodes burn out. I have some knowledge of electronics and have some test equipment. Included are pictures of board....

Re: Emerson LC401EM2F
I have a Emersom LC401EM2F. The antenna connection is broken. I need to replace the board that it is attached to. I am new to this kind of soldering. Is there a special way to remove the ribbons, or can I order the board with the ribbons already attached and splice them

Re: Emerson LC401EM2F
I worked on computers, and now my TV went out because a storm knocked my antenna down and pulled the cable sideways and damaged the connector on the back of the set. How do I get the back off of the Emerson LC401EM2F? How many and which screws do I remove? I need to repair where the antenna connects?...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello. I ran across this site looking for information on repairing a TV. I am now a member. I repaired computers, appliances, and autos. Basically I have been doing this all my life. I started with tricycles and bicycles. I had my first computer which was a Timex. You hooked it up to a TV via the antenna terminals.
I continued learning and had other computers like commodore, a 286, 386, etc. I also blew up my first TV at age 16.
I had some electronic classes in college. That was years ago. I keep abreast of knowledge...
