I also have this problem with the capacitor blown.
What voltage should the capacitor be able to handle?...

Re: Samsung LE40C659 goes ultrabright
Thank you for your answer.
Here are a few pics.
First on of the t-con board, second is what it looks like when i start the tv, the third one is when it gets "washed out"....Last edited by biljon; 12-15-2014, 07:01 AM.

Samsung LE40C659 goes ultrabright
I have a Samsung LE40C659 that functions normally for about 5 minutes but then all of a sudden goes ultrabright, you can hardly see anything because of the brightness.
It stays like this for maybe 30 minutes then goes back to normal for a short while, then it's ultrabright again.
I have checked voltages but everything seems normal.
Any ideas anyone?

Samsung PS51D535 just clicks
Hello everyone.
I have a Samsung PS51D535 that just clicks when i try to turn it on.
I have taken the back off the and i see the little center board has a diode that blinks green once shortly and then once a bit longer and finally turns off.
If i disconnect the circled cable upper right in the picture the green diode stays on and the screen flickers briefly.
The power supply looks good, no bad caps, it has 5V and 15V out but no high voltage to the screen.
Anyone that has experienced the same problem or have a idea what to do next?...
