  • Re: Um, wow. Just, wow.

I use PS/2 here too, I've got a PS/2 compatible USB trackball (yes trackball) mouse plugged into a PS/2 adapter but my keyboard is proper PS/2. What I want to know is there anyone who uses a trackball mouse anymore except me?

  • Re: the gutless, bloated, and fried power supply hall of shame

Possibly not the best section to post about the TV, there are other sections but I'd have a look at the DC rectification diodes in the power supply first, thats if there is no sign of capacitors bulging and then check the capacitors if the diodes are tested and working.

I personally don't mind Teapo they seem to hold up well in power supplies as long as its not a appliance that gets hot, my current system and some spare power supplies I have has got Teapo's in it and this computer is from 2005 still running excellent, Capxon seem to be ok with me although I only got one computer power supply with some Capxon caps.

  • Re: Peace capacitors

Reminds me of these counterfeit Samsing capacitors I once saw in a record player a rip off of Samsung they went very bad almost immideatley after a few months of use and made the speed of the player ripple so much you could hear the difference I still have the player with these Counterfeit caps I will post an image of them.

  • Re: What's the worst brand of capacitor

The worst brand I know of is a counterfeit ripoff of Samsung they are called Samsing, I found a Samsing 2200μF 16V in a no-name record player of mine from 2005 the rest were just Chengx capacitors but I can literally hear the ripple coming from the speakers when a record plays as for the Chengx caps ill leave them despite being a bad brand that Samsing is the biggest issue of them all, I'll rid it for a Nice Rubycon. ZLG cap.

As for Elite caps I have them in a Acer CRT monitor from 2005 which is for my everyday PC and...

  • Re: Teapo capacitor quality

I had good experince with Teapo capacitors I wont say they are excellent but in my friends old computer had teapo caps he had the system running much of the day for 8 or so years before the motherboard chipset went bad, I have the PSU (HIPRO) running in my computer now which is going well... nowdays he has another machine it has a coolermaster unit it is running windows 7 it was one of the last windows 7 stock machines before they went to 8 and i used the rest of his old system for parts. but still those caps just keep on going they could die tomorrow...

  • Re: The GOOD Capacitors Thread!!

I have not had good luck with rubycon at all in a power supply on mine (Hyena total rubbish PSU brand) well i am not sure if it is counterfiet caps or what i am clearly sure it said Rubycon not Rubylon, in a compaq of mine which has rubycon they seem to be going fine exept this one rubycon which 1 capacitor is buldging only a little its definitley not flat however the system is still stable but id go nichicon or panasonic or sanyo those are what i have had for a long time still going good i think Capxon is a ok brand id never get anything from them...
