sounds like some bad schotkey diodes. just had this in a emerson tv.

I have a lot of videos online, i'd like to start sharing them with more of the public.
This tv had 2-820uf 25v caps and 2-470uf 25v samwha capacitors.
Just about every other tv I come across have this crappy caps in them!

When you turn on, led turns amber and flashes. I have my 12, 5volts. i got nothing on on/off and 5v on dim. Capacitors are fine on power board. Screen doesnt change at all, nothing happens other than the blinking led.
