Re: Sharp AQUOS LC-60LE640U - Very dim picture, help?
Well, if anybody is still following this I got the LED strips out. The part number is GA0361TPZZ. It's a whole combined heat sink/LED strip.

Re: Sharp AQUOS LC-60LE640U - Very dim picture, help?
So, I believe I've narrowed it down to the actual LED light strips. It just can't be anything else. I ended up taking it to a TV repair shop and he agreed. I haven't dismantled it that far yet but after a few searches for the LED strips I haven't been able to come up with any online. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Sharp AQUOS LC-60LE640U - Very dim picture, help?
I've exhausted almost all resources trying to fix this tv, maybe you guys can help. When I turn on the tv, it looks normal, no flashing power light or anything. When you turn off all the lights and shine a flashlight at it, you can see an image but it's EXTREMELY dim.
From the research I've done I thought I had it narrowed down to the led driver. I replaced the power supply, which is where the led driver is located (from what I've found online). Nothing, still the exact same problem.
I've emailed the tech support at shopjimmy, who told me that they also thought...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hoping to find a fix to my TV. I've always enjoyed working on electronics, usually I can troubleshoot them myself with the help of the internet. I hope this place can help, I'd love to fix my issue and be able to help somebody else!
