  • Re: Samsung lns4095dx Lines/ Distortion

I switched the main board and it was the exact same thing with same pattern. I have also changed the capacitors on the power board and changed the tcon. Is it possible to get another board to cause the same issue?, the shop I ordered it from claims it was tested....

No I haven't, it started slowly and got worse over the course of a few months. In person it really is more off to the left side in full or just scan aspect in 16:9 is more towards the middle even though its hard to tell from the photos. Its a moving pattern like interference.

  • Samsung lns4095dx Lines/ Distortion

So I have green horizontal scan lines or white vertical scan lines depending on the aspect ratio and resolution of the TV.

The distortion changes with the aspect ratio, the smaller the aspect ratio the less distortion.

The distortion changes with the resolution, 1080p is much worse then 720p.

    At 720p

    At 1080p

The lines are NOT over the menus and do not effect parts of the screen when there is no picture on screen such as no signal...
