I included the above drawing. Hopefully you can make sense of my scribble.
I still need to draw a diagram of the other chip but I measured 12.63 volts as well as 5v. There were other voltages that measured between .600 and 1.5 volts.Re: Vizio 40” V405-H19 has backlight, no display

The only two voltages I found close to what you were asking was pin 1 starting from the top left above the “I” in “INX” which measured at 4.970V and pin 3 above the “N” at 12.63V. I tried looking up the chip but couldn't find anything specific.Re: Vizio 40” V405-H19 has backlight, no display

Readings are the same when unit is on or off.
VGH = .793 V
VGL_AA = 1.156 V
VGL_GOP = 0.00 VRe: Vizio 40” V405-H19 has backlight, no display

I tested the resistance on the fuse and it is at .02 ohms.

I have attached 4 photos. One wide shot and 3 up close shots of the T-CON board.

Vizio 40” V405-H19 has backlight, no display
I have a Vizio TV that I am trying to fix for a friend. The problem is when you turn it on, you get a back light but no picture. If I press the input button one time on the remote, I will hear music. I ordered and replaced the main board as well as the power board from Shop Jimmy but no change. Any ideas on what else I can try to get a picture? The TV is a couple of years old.
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Vizio vp422hdtv10a turns on, no video or sound
When I press the power button the Visio name switches from amber to light blue but there is no picture or sound. I pulled the back panel off to get readings at the PSU and found that Va=111.4 V(suppose to be 54 V) and Vs=436 V(Suppose to be 207 V) with the power on. I couldn't find Vsc or Ve to take their readings.

Re: Proscan 40LC45S57 with red LED and clicking.
Just wanted to let everyone know that replacing the inverter indeed restored the TV back to operational standards. I found a good board on Ebay for $14.00 including shipping. It looked brand new and was well packaged.
I noticed on the backside of the original inverter board that it has three brown spots in the lower left corner area. On the front side of the board it has three small ICs under the large transformer. You can see them in the first picture of the group of pictures in post #5.Last edited by mattd1979; 05-07-2014, 10:13 PM.
