What do you mean when you say power section?! I thought the inverter and the power section were both combined on the same board?

I have some pictures below of the old inverter (INV17) and the replacement I was sent out (GL877) which, as you can see, are similar but not identical. These pictures are not mine but taken from websites selling the boards.

Hi everyone!

I have a Neovo E-17DA that started suffering the usual two-seconds-to-black syndrome. I installed a new inverter board because this worked a few years ago when the monitor presented identical symptoms.

The new inverter worked for a couple of days, although on a couple of occasions when I turned the monitor on it went weird, displaying a shrunken version of the desktop background image in the middle of the screen surrounded by black. Turning the monitor off and then on again returned it to normal.

But after two days the monitor went back...

I'm joining today in the hope of saving my trusty Neovo monitor which has suddenly taken ill. Although getting on in years, I'm reluctant to let him go without a fight. I need you expert help!
