  • Re: Lenovo 215wa Intermittent Power Issue

I was actually reading a sticky on Badcaps last night that recommended trying a different lamp. The problem is I don't have any spare lamps sitting around and if I did I wouldn't know if they are compatible or not. I will add pictures of the LCD itself and of the lamp once I get the time. Thanks Rtech....

After checking all external video and power connections, I immediately dissembled the monitor to take a look at the internals. My first thought was that it is probably a capacitor issue. I was kind of annoyed to not find a single leaking capacitor on either the driver board or the power supply...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello All!
I am Ryan, aka MrLemmy from the Great White North aka Canada! I am a third year Electronics Engineering Technologist student attempting to broaden my knowledge field and gain some more understanding of trouble shooting. (This is because my college doesn't teach jack all about this) I am very interested in electronics been tinkering with them for about 10 years now, still am not very good at programming, have been playing around with Arduino and such. Here's to learning and solving problems! Cheers!
