anybody have any thoughts on if its worth fixing or not?...i have no problems taking things apart and using a soldering iron ...just wondering if its even worth it...dont want to spend much time or money on it

also ...an update.....if i leave everything connected and pull the second of the side by side fuse the tv will power on and give me sound......so any ideas on where to go next would be great

....hi all....first time poster here but have been reading for quite a bit.....i was given a no working lg 42pc3d plasma tv made in 06....the problem is is that as soon as i power it on it trys to start...the red stand by light turns green then makes a click a few seconds later and shuts down again to stand by...i pulled the back off and found no swollen caps .....after doing some reading i pulled the wires going to the board on the left hand side(looking from behind)and the tv powers up and i get sound from the speakers.....now here is where i am stuck....i dont know what to check next.....any...
