I am working right now on a Klipsch ProMedia V2-400 amp that I got on Craigslist. As some might know this amp has for each channel an individual amp pcb.
[B][U]Here is what happened:[/U][/B]
I replaced the usual suspects like underrated and non-functional resistors on the DC to DC and Digital Converter. As soon as I turned it on, cap C22 on one of the amp-boards went into smoke.
I assume that this particular board had already a prior issue which killed an underrated resistor (which acted then as fuse) on the DC-DC converter....
