This TV is two years old and lives in our den where it gets very little use. I temporarily moved it to the living room one day where it worked fine for the day and then I moved it back to the den. The next time I turned it on the power light went from red to blue but there was no picture, no sound, no menu on screen. I tried both the tv buttons and the remote with no joy.

I checked the fuse on the power board with an ohm meter and found 2-3 ohms across the fuse. I don't see any bulged capacitors. With the tv plugged in and turned on I checked...

I am just a dyi guy looking to salvage any repairable electronics I can to save a buck or two. I came across this forum during a search on a dead flat screen I'm hoping to save. Looked through some of the threads and it seems this forum is populated with a bunch of helpful folks.
