  • Not sure if some of the information above is accurate. I have M55-C2 with AUO screen and and main board "without" heat pipe. Although I am not the first owner I doubt the screen or mainboard was ever replaced. My TV serial number starts with LWZASBBR. Based on shopjimmy web site TVs with serial number starting with LWZASBBR use main board without pipe (that's also what I have). TVs with serial number LWZASBAR use main boards with heat pipe. Perhaps Lsserblast got these two mixed up..
My tv has black screen and standby light blinks 15 times. Does anyone has any tip besides replacing...

  • Re: Coby TFDVD2395 - strange main board problem

I wonder if there is a way to update the firmware through the USB port (I have done that for some Sony before). I have similar problem with the 32" Coby version. The user guide refers to Coby's web site for firmware upgrades. But the site does not exist any more because they went out of business.

It would be pain if we had to change the whole eeprom..

  • Firmware for Coby LCD TV model TFDVD3295

Does anyone has a firmware update for the Coby LCD TV model TFDVD3295 (32" LCD with DVD) ?

Not sure if this caused the problem but the TV was working fine until USB stick has been inserted to play some multimedia files. There were some other files on the stick too. The TV displayed some error about invalid format. I did not capture exact error. The TV was turned off it never started up again. Blue LED light on the box is on when plugged to power but it does not react to any power button press. I tried to open the TV and measure some voltages on power and main board. The main...

    Re: sony kdl46s4100

Sorry for jumping on one year old thread. I have same Sony KDL-46S4100 and same symptoms as "Nomoresonys". also ordered second replacement A board which did not work... I researched several threads online and this one has the most helpful information. But I have additiona question:

I noticed there is a DC voltage about 57V between grounds of primary and secondary circuits on the Power board (there is 57V DCV on the big left&middle heatsinks (they are connected) and small heatsink on the right (which is connected with general ground...
