I tried that in my original post. Didn't work. Also, the shop tried it with a new one, same result.

Re: photo negative LG 47" LW6500
Hi, I bit the bullet and took this to an electrician. They said that an I.c. was bad on the panel. Oh well. Thanks anyways

Re: photo negative LG 47" LW6500
Hi,I took off all of the boards but I didn't feel qualified to remove the metal shield that remained. It didn't come off easily and I got nervous forcing it.I took two more pics of the screen. Any advice on how to remove the shielding

You want pics of the panel without the metal sheet? Or with the attached boards? Sorry if this sounds like a ridiculous question. I'm a newbie and I am trying to learn

photo negative LG 47" LW6500
Hi I have a 3d LG 47" LW 6500. The screen has washed out colors and the menu does as well. I tried replacing the tcon to no avail. Everything works fine and the firmware is up to date. Is it the panel? Any help would be appreciated....

HELP, I think i screwed the pooch! Samsung PN50c7000
HI, I got a samsung PN50C7000 3D plasma that HAD two small horizontal lines across the top of the screen. I bought a Y board off of ebay but when i installed it. POOF! A spark and and a pop and the picture went out!
So through my bumbling now my screen is half black, no pic and the other starts off as white static the fades to red, then purple then finally black. I can still hear audio. I have replaced the x buffer boards that is on the black side, no change. I have replaced the Y sus board but not the Y buffer board.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello, I found this site on Google and I am desperately trying to repair my TWO Samsungs. I seem to be ask Samsung these days from my screens to my phones. I have a Samsung note 3 and my wife has the galaxy 4. We have been loyal Samsung users for awhile. But we are all Macs when it comes to computers. Strange.
Anyway, hello everyone
