Hi - I have a Formac 2010 21.1" monitor which after sterling service for many years began showing a black screen after awakening from sleep - with increasing frequency till a couple of days ago when not even a computer restart could get the screen working. Just a flashing light on the front panel (usual mode is on when working or slow fading in-&-out blink when sleeping)

In fact I have another exact same kind monitor that died the same way - I've searched for an online manual / internal diagram without any joy. I'd be handy to repair as it has a useful resolution of 1600x1200...

4 attempts at o'Level Physics before I passed, now I have a a couple of dud Formac 2010 monitors to poke about in so though best seek advice here. Fettled motorcycle electrics and upgraded Mac processors and that's about my current limit. Ambitions to get an electric bicycle later this year - so the more I learn the better.
