Hello gents. I have a similar issue. The symptoms is that I get the red flashing light. When I unplug and replug the power cord, I can hear a relay or switch inside the TV. The light start off green but it will disappear then the red light comes on without the tv powering up. The funny thing is that unplugging the TV works sometimes. I opened the back of my tv to look for any obvious damage but there isn't any visual damages or burnt smell. I know it has to be a switching device but I haven't troubleshoot a circuit board in...

Hello everyone. I am an Army veteran of 25 years. I served as an audio/visual technician. I was the maintenance supervisor for two American Forces Network TV/Radio stations. I have to admit during my early years, I performed component level repairs on old beta VTRs and analog tv systems. As I moved up the ranks, spent more time supervising than repairs.
