Having a major issue with a [COLOR="Red"]HP LP3065[/COLOR] 30" Monitor I recently purchased from ebay. It was working without issue when I first used it for about 4 hours but I went off for a nap and returned to a strange, repeating noise (every 5 seconds or so...) with the monitor on standby. When I fired it up it still displayed an image but was flickering horribly and making a more continuous noise. Here is a video I uploaded to youtube that shows the display and also the noise (albiet a bit exaggerated by the close proximity of the microphone at the end...)...

My names Rob I'm a chemical engineer from Melbourne, Australia, interested in fixing up some old equipment that would otherwise be heading to the tip.
