so i switch out the tcon board and now i have about a four inch band of up and down stipes.when i put the original t con in if has a black screen.any thoughts

i did power it off when removing ribbons,luckily.a tcon would be about the best solution

checked fuse,has 13v on both sides of it.disconnected one ribbon at a time with no pic at any time,the menu doesnt come up at all.I dont know if there is supposed to be more voltages present on tcon from main board or not

Hi,I have this tv that when turns on and get a split second of snow then no pic.but sound continues, I have the back off and i can see that the backlights are on.any thoughts? could it be a bad panel? or hopefully something easier. thanks guys.

I got a chance to check voltages.however the wiring diagram doesnt apear to be the same.i dont know if the -2 at the end of the model number is the problem....

Hi,and thanks for the great forum. I have a dynex dx-lcd37-09 that wont turn on
the green power light flashes for a little while then goes back to red standby light.I have checked the power board soldier joints and touched up some.and checked some of the resisters and diodes.there is 160 volts on the wires that go
between the two boards. the connector on the top of the power board has two
wires that have 3 volts the rest have 0v.I cant find a repair manual and am
stumped with the next thing to check, thanks for the help
