In the past i did wash some boards in my dishwasher machine with success and then dried them in the oven at a temperature around (and alittle above) 100 degrees celsius i did also pre spayed them with a mild cleaner no clorine nor amonia to spray the board with air is also a good idea before et it dry completely.

I did try to cook the mobos but with no success so i subcontract someone to reball them cause i dont have a reballing station but they came exactly with the same symptoms, i.e., they aparently boot ok HDD spins and seems to work DVD drive also, if i take the RAM out it doesn't boot but screen is blank. They used the same GPU so i don't know if the problem is with the GPU i've already cooked other similar mobo redesigned the cooling system with better copper dissipators instead of those rubber like pads and they are working fine. but this two i've now don't...Last edited by Tea_4_2; 03-16-2014, 02:24 PM.

The lcd and inverter are ok. tried with another board wich is ok and they both work.
alihomee you mean to disconect the lcd cable and connect an external one ?

Sony Vaio MBX 165
Hi I have two Mobo Sony Vaio MBX-165 Rev 1.0 and a Rev 1.1 both with the same problem they aparently boot but the LCD stays black as a coal mine tried a external monitor with no success, had the GPU reball also with no success the symptoms the behavior before and after reball are the same, can anyone please help me on this?
