Check your input op-amp ic's ,some use two inputs on one ic (4558 or 4560) but if they single input per ic ,it should be easy to replace (smd or dip).plug a signal generator into the mic @ 0.150mv 1khz and probe pin 1 and pin 7.

Check the resistors around the sub driver transistors if i remember correct its a 22 ohm and 47kilo-ohm resistor on both side of the board . make sure that your output transistors are idling correct if not the protection stage will kick in even if there is no dc on output .

Hey people or should i say HELLO to all ,members and people visiting this forum.

My name is Brad and being repairing audio equipment for about 13 years now, NOPE i did not study electronics but i have beening reading so many books on it .
YES,i did not start understanding it until a friendly guy offered me a job at his small business 13 years back and started explaining the basics of ohm's law and a few more calculations .Suddenly i started understanding most of what i was reading.
