Did You find a solution? I've got same problem. Virgin bios from HP, machine boots and shows "MPM....[..]" warning and restarts repeatedly.... -
I have figured it out.
EC_RST# should be 3.3V. Voltage drop on this line was caused by damaged diode ED12.

No response to the power button (3.3V present on the button).
After pressing the button, the +3VSUS/+5VSUS converters should appear, but this does not happen.
KBC does not issue the SUS_ON signal (PU4 pin6 and pin20 = 0V).
+3VALW and +5VALW present.
Choke11 (+3VSUS) = 0V, 4kΩ
Choke10 (+5VSUS) = 0v, 11kΩ
I inserted another KBC programmed for this board - the same result.
I have placed KBC chip to another board... -

POS WINTEC, TXE cleaning request
Please help cleaning TXE region.
My device boots up, but shows image after 15 seconds.
I've tried to clean it using TXE_FIT_1.1.5.1162, but generated outimage.bin bricks my device (continous beep, no image)

I have no 12.0.90.2072 version in my csme12 repository. (12.0.71.1681 is max i have)

APU: i3-4005U
KBC: ene KB9028Q C
My motherboard had no m2 slot. I came with idea to solder it, so i purchased another(damaged) board with m2 slot.
I've soldered m2 slot (marked as MSATA1) and following elements from donor board:
R6304, EC6301, C6310, C6306, U6305, C6318, C6317, C6307, C6308, C6305,C6309, C6320 and Q1902.
But m2 disk is still not visible.
Disk is being powered (3.3V @C6307) and it seems m2 detection singnals somehow works (im using M2 SATA drive)...Last edited by SMDFlea; 10-24-2023, 08:14 AM. -
