Can anyone tell me if the software/firmware can be changed on a main board.
I've got a JVC LT-40C540 with a faulty main board so the TV is stuck in standby.
I have been unable to source a replacement board specifically for this model so i thought I'd try same board but from another model.
I now have a working TV but the display is upside down and displays Polaroid when switched on.
Board is a MSDV3223-ZC01-01. The two boards look identical but obviously its not that easy.
Any help would be great.

Hi.
Any advise would be great.
Got a PS4 that wont allow disks to be inserted. I've check the Drive roller and they are fine. Disks can be inserted and removed via the manual screw at the side of the drive.
Once inserted the drive read and run fine but wont eject. System does try to eject if eject button or Software eject is pressed but nothing happens.
Any help would be great.
Tried all the youtube stuff. Standing Vertical, Pulling Power and rebuilding database. -

Looking for a bit of Advise.
Got a Hitachi 40HXC06U with main board 17MB82-2. The HDMI ports have been damaged and I'm looking to replace the Board. I can't however source an identical board.
My board is
17MB82-2 (23155966) (27073243) for Panel VES400UNES
I can source a board which has identical connections.
17MB82-2 (23119729) (27091977) for Panel VES400UNDS
Can anyone tell me if this is likely to be compatible ? -

Hi.
Can anyone tell me if the attached pics are more likely to be a Panel fault or T-Con issue.
Tv makes a bad static sound when powered on and displays images attached. It seems to power off and then on again repeatedly. If its left for approx 20 mins it sorts its self out and works fine.
The fact it works after 20 mins gives me some hope its not the panel.... -

Looking for some help please.
Got a Samsung PS42C450B1W that will not come out of standby.
If I disconnect the Logic Board from the PSU the TV powers on but obviously with not picture. The TV is showing nothing on the VS (should be 210) and only 0.6 from the VA (should be 54). The connection for the Logic board on the PSU should have Pin 1 and 2 at 5.3v but both showing 10.8v.
I've tried a replacement power Board and Logic board but have the same issue. I've attached pic of the boards. Any help would be much appreciated... -

Any ideas.Picture seems to be duplicating itself.
I thought bad T-con but tried a different one and same issue. T-con came from damages screen though so can't be sure its not damaged. Been suggested may be LVDS CABLE.
Any help would be great. Don't want to spend any cash if the panel is bad.

Got a CV109H v2.0 with a blown / corrupt eeprom. I can't find one for my TV which is a jo42baird. I can find a board same CV109H v2.0 from a 37".
All connections are identical . Can this be used or does the screen size matter ? -

Could not get a Y-main anywhere but manged to pick up an X-main cheap so decided to give it a try. Problem sorted.

The 2 adjustors are marked as VR-VSC AND VR-FR.
Adjusting these makes no significant difference. Had a similar issue with a 50" Samsung previously which I sorted by adjusting.Leave a comment:

Don't have a Scope. All Voltages check good.
Noticed today that the screen is holding the Picture from two weeks ago when I last looked at this. Like Screen burn but it was only on that screen for less than 10 minutes. Does this have any significance ?Leave a comment:

I've got a Samsung LE37A558P3F it had standard Samsung Solarized Picture due to a faulty T-Con. I had this repaired but now after it has been running for a few minutes it keeps searching for signal on all inputs. Example : Will just randomly come up HDMI 1 searching for signal then display the image again. This just gets worse the longer it's left until is only displays the picture for a few seconds before resetting.
As usual any help would be great. -

Hi.
Can anyone offer any advice on fixing this TV. I've attached images of all boards and the display fault.
Had a very similar fault with a LCD which was a faulty T-con but I understand the plasma does not work the same way.
My knowledge is limited and really which board is likely to be faulty is all the info I need as board repair other than cap is a bit above my ability.

Hi. Finally after more attempts than I care to count got a pic. The yellow in the screen is not visible when watching but as you can see the top of the screen is in the bottom. Looks a lot worse in the pic. While watching its only really a ghost / shadow.

Photo are not possible. It is a millisecond flick of the top half on the screen ghosted into the bottom half. Happens every couple of minutes or so. Got me baffled.Leave a comment:
