Hi, like to get some advice. I have a snowy like picture on all inputs and tv driven menu's. The blue screen has no noise when a non used HDMI is selected. I bought a main board and was worse than the one I had so now I am not sure.
I read somewhere if just the inputs were noisy and menu was good its a mainboard, but if both menu and inputs were bad it could be the Tcon board. Don't know if that is true or not. Thanks -

It was bad solder connections on the LED board. Resolder the connectors to the board. You will have to remover the display from the front.Leave a comment:

I have one with no backlight. Sound and pic with flashlight. There are 2 connectors going to the LEDs CN202 (yellow) CN203 (black) Measuring to ground pin 1 of CN202 is 320V and the rest 280V. CN203 pins 1 and 2 180V, 2 and 4 120v and 0v on pin 5. Have heard of some being bad solder connections on LED driver boards in display. I replaced C611 (per Toshiba bulletin) with an 3mfd electrolytic that I had since there was plenty of room and works fine. First measured across the cap was 4 ohms and after I replaced it it was 15 or more.Leave a comment:

I noticed on my old main board that CP36 a 470 uf @ 35V was bulging, may have been the problem in the first place.
