  • Re: Sony KDL-46EX700 5 blinks

Did you remove the t-con board and suppy It from 12V external DC power source? Then you would probably find theres something faulty on it...

Main board is faulty. Please upoload the picture of the board, I need to see where eeprom and eMMC IC/ NAND are located, also check voltages on line voltage regulators directly after switch on- one of them could be dropping. Chcek if 12V to screen is present

  • Re: Philips 55PFL7008K lines on screen

Hello, did you get It sorted? Im having the same issue, and blocked the clocking signals responsible for driving the right (affected part of the display where lines are) but the result was just no image in the right(left part also slightly trembling picture). Looks like its COG panel version, as the only clock signals coming out towards right bottom corner of the LCD are CPV 1-4 STV 1, 2 and obviously Von and Voff. Thanks.

    Re: LG 42ls570T

Thats not like that really. The current in the whole circuit stays the same, as its a series connection. This particular LED bar consists of 6 circuits ( loops) with 6 feedbacks to Dimming controller( AUO K301-29 chip). If one led diode goes short theres higher voltage drop across that diode which in turns leads to higher voltage voltage supply of this loop, the chip senses that and shuts down the entire supply. If the diode goes 'short' it doesnt mean its resistance is zero( like a shorted transistor) the diode wont light up, the current in this...

  • Re: Panasonic TX-P50X60B 3 blinking lights

    Hello

Is there any solution to this problem yet? I replaced the main board and no cure!

If I enable power board on the bench (by shortening ON pins to standby 5v) and connect a dummy load in Vsus I'm getting all output voltages, without a dummy it starts up but voltages decay slowly

I replaced the signal (A board) but still the same fault, green on start up changes to 3 red blinks, I checked SC board but theres no short IGBTs anywhere, my friend says service manual doesnt explain 3 red blinks, and...

  • Re: EAX61319402 Poor picture, Y sus problems in 50PJ550 LG

One more question to add here: what is the function of these blue ceramic disc caps in between collector and source of the transistor, I know it has something to do with bypassing, perhaps spikes damping or snubbing, but if capacitance is slightly different will it affect switching circuit like in my case? Many thanks

  • EAX61319402 Poor picture, Y sus problems in 50PJ550 LG

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with this beast.
Ive been repairing plasma TVs for years but this one is extremely stubborn and gives me lots of grief

Y sus: EAX61319402 EBR63039802, came up with open safety resistor 2.2 ohm supplying V sustain voltage RAMP UP mosfet. I didn't find any other issues on that Y sus so just replaced the resistor but it went again. The fault was very poor picture with red sparklies and no image reset (so-called 'black hole' on display) The waveform on the scope looked bad, but I read sustain pulses and scanning wave, obviously no 400V...

  • Re: Samsung pn50b550t2fxza

Hello. In Samsung TVs there are no error code blinks. In modern Samsung plasma TVs you cannot just unplug your SUS board as microprocessor on CTRL will get the feedback info via I2C bus line that power was disconnected (Vs/Va line) For example if Y sus was to be faulty, CTRL boards sees it and disables PSU board (but you should still get around 200V of Vs voltage for a second before this voltage drops). Even if buffer board is faulty or the PDP, CTRL board can still shut down SUS boards+ Vs/Va lines in PSU.

What you can do is first check if...

Hi guys, I'm new member on the forum, good to join you guys. I am doing online repair to t-con (and many other) boards on eBay in the UK. (in this one AS15F needs changed as a standard fault). My nick on eBay is zbyszekskibinski, thanks
