Yes. I knew to look for that IC after reading some of your posts ;-)
I don't detect any shorts on the TVS, so I guess I should probably purchase a new NS-B902 power button board, as I'm out of ideas.
I did find a tarnished pin on my 65W Lenovo power supply and it would not always light up the side mounted power led when inserted into the laptop, so I'm now using an equivalent Dell supply without issue.
After a full disassemble/reassemble, the power button LED was solid for several boots, but is now back to off with the odd dim flash. Luckily the button will boot...

Correction to the previous post.
1 - GND
2 - -LED_PWR_R5101
3 - -PWRSWITCH
With a fully charged battery and the charger connected, but system in the off state, voltages are as follows:
1-2 = 3.17V
1-3 = 0.51V
2-3 = -2.67V
In the powered on state (charger disconnected) I see:
1-2 = 0.00V
1-3 = 1.97V
2-3 = 1.97V

Does anyone have any ideas from the LED flickering?
Here is what I measure on EMC@D5101 AZ5125-02S.R7G_SOT23-3 while the system is running.
1-2 = 1.97V
1-3 = 0.00V
2-3 = 1.97V

Lenovo T490 flashing power LED
I have a T490 that will not power on by pressing the power button. If I short out the pins on the ribbon cable however, I can successfully get it to boot on occasion.
When it is on however, the LED flickers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6A4hnH3d_Q
As there are not many components on the power board itself, how likely is it that replacing it will fix this issue?
I lack the necessary equipment for BGA repair, so really hope it's not the MEC1663 (UEC1) IC.https://I have a T490 that will not ...t out the pins

Re: SS-600ET PSU Chirping
After months of operating with this annoying chirp, today it just mysteriously vanished.
I was able to find at least one report of a fix for a similar model. The owner replaced a couple suspect SMD resistors:

Perhaps it's a bad solder joint, that is now making a connection after my recent fiddling.
Because this unit is in service, I have yet to inspect the bottom side of the PCB. I have another Seasonic...Last edited by skyblaster; 06-03-2020, 07:13 PM.

SS-600ET PSU Chirping
I have a PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III 600W that chirps constantly and increases in frequency along with load. At first I was convinced it was the fan, but the noise is there even with the fan disconnected.
I could upload an audio snippet somewhere, but it is the exact same sound found here (be careful with headphones): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0A-dxoFItQ
Based on a little Internet research, this model is supposedly based on the Seasonic SS-600ET platform (aka. Seasonic S12II Bronze): https://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2011/11/14/pc-power-cooling-silencer-mk-iii-600w-power-supply/4/...Last edited by skyblaster; 06-01-2020, 04:30 PM.

Re: LG 60pz550 sound but no picture
Repaired the cracked solder joints on the Zsus board and reinstalled.
Measured Panel Rating

Vsc 149.0 150
Vy -177.6 -178
Vzb 105.7 110
M5V 5.166
I disconnected the LVDS cable and jumpered R51/R52 and confirmed I can display test patterns. It's not a perfect panel as there is a single black line showing on solid red and blue screens, but I digress.
With the jumper pulled, there is nothing on screen and I'm not hearing any audio...Last edited by skyblaster; 10-01-2018, 03:12 PM.

Re: LG 60pz550 sound but no picture
Reviving an old thread since I just picked up the same model with similar symptoms. Sound but no picture. The seller informs me that the panel was working fine up until it went black screen, while retaining sound.
First thing I did when I got home was pull the Zsus. I've verified there are no shorts on any of the FGFP4633 IGBTs (all measuring 10kOhms), or blown fuses, or burnt resistors, just two cracked solder joints on two separate inductor coils.
My plan of attack is to simply reflow the coils, reinstall, and verify...Last edited by skyblaster; 09-30-2018, 06:38 PM.

Re: Samsung HL67A750 DLP with bad caps!
Thanks for the reply LLLlllou!
I actually went ahead and purchased 2700uF FM series from Future Electronics since they were a good price. I didn't bother to replace any other caps.
Still need to source a reasonably priced 1910-6143W DMD since the one I replaced it with was no better than the original....bought used

Re: Samsung HL67A750 DLP with bad caps!
LLLlllou,
Thanks for your post. I have the same model RPTV and am now looking around for those FM 2700uF and FR 3300uF components. I recently replaced the DMD due to a few stuck mirrors and noticed three bulging WB series 2200uF caps on the sub power board while I had the back off the set.
I'm curious if you replaced any caps on the main power supply or just the SMPS?
Thanks!
