This step must be done very carefully, I drew a line with the tip of the screwdriver to weaken the metal foil and then I could break and lift. I used a common 30W soldering iron....

Repaired Toshiba L305 with success . NEC / TOKIN 0E907.
Capacitors are 330. Extracted from a damaged motherboard HP-DV6000.

Hi i'm Oxlahun. My first aproach to electricity in 1978 when i was 2 years old and put a wire doing short-circuit in a 110V outlet... Played too much with capacitors, at 9 year i got a very big 36.000 mf capacitor and use it to scare my sister and my friends with the large spark produced by linking the terminals with a metal bar.
Now I'm a systems programmer but I have my home electronics workshop where I experiment.Leave a comment:
