On budm's advice i tested the 2 diodes and 3 transistors near the relay. I discovered that the 47uF/25v capacitor was showing no value in either direction when i tested it with my esr meter. I replaced that diode and now the relay is switching perfectly without any issue
I'll post some pics of the front/back of the board tomorrow. The relay only acts funny for about 10-30 seconds after powering on the amp then it works perfectly fine until the power is switched off and back on again.
Hi, I have an unknown brand amp that when i first power on the main relay keeps clicking for about a minute or so afterwards. I've checked all solder points and everything seems to be in order so i'm left with the relay itself.
I'd like to replace it but the relay in question is no longer in production. Can someone suggest a replacement for an OMI-SS-212DM? I'd prefer to purchase it from an irish or uk seller if possible
So still have this in my spare room just sitting there taking up space. Anyone care to link me to a cheap complete replacement power board on ebay or amazon? TIA
I have a 32" BlueDiamond TV which won't power on. I removed the power board and identified a blown component but i'm unsure of the part name/number and whether or not i should test/replace anything else on the board in relation to it. I've attached pics of the board. Any help greatly appreciated ...
The one you received probably does have built-in Thermal fuse, pin 2 can be used for indicator to tell if the MOV has blown, you can use pin 1 and pin 2.
I used these 3-le
So if i just chop off the shorter 3rd lead i should be good to go yeah?Re: Suitable replacement MOV-14D511K

I ordered the MOV you suggested in the previous post and it finally came today but these have 3 legs instead of 2! I'm assuming the shorter of the 3 legs is meant for thermal protection? Can i still use it and simply ignore the 3rd leg?
Hi Guys, I need help finding a suitable replacement for a Varistor model# MOV-14D511K. I need to source it from here if possible http://ie.rs-online.com or another website based in Ireland. There is an exact replacement on that website but it's out of stock and i need it ASAP!!https://Hi Guys, I need help finding...need it ASAP!!Hi Guys, I need help finding
I took your advice and checked all of the areas with glue and just as you said the glue has become conductive and caused several shorts!!! I think this board is toast ...
I have a samsung 32" lcd tv that has recently blown the internal fuse. I've taken the back off to inspect the board for any obvious component failure and found what looks like a blown ceramic capacitor (pictured) How would i go about finding the specifications of this component to replace it and are there any other components i should replace besides this and the fuse?
The power board in question is BN44-00213A. If wanted i can post full board pictures front and back....
Just want to say thanks for the info. I had the exact same problem as the OP and for me issue was a blown capacitor.. C525 to be exact. I simply removed it and the laptop is booting fine without it now ...
I just tried the pair from the fully working board in the non working board and got the same result as before.. will power on for a second or 2 then restart...
