Good morning, all! I have a headscratcher here and my Google-fu is failing to find any good pointers.

I have a Philips 47pfl5603d/27 which we've had for several years now. It's nothing special but it worked well especially with gaming via HDMI. Lately though it's been trying to drive us crazy - the backlight will randomly shut off when using a non-HDMI source!

Our cable (standard-def) is plugged in via coax and our DVD player is in through component. I have a PS3 and PS4, both on HDMI. When using a NON-HDMI source, the backlight will often shut off randomly. Cycling...
