Yeah again using your pics it ended up being the same exact one you fried...the 12pf...I was confused at the label 12j but learned that 12j = 12 picofarads or 12pf...So I got the one's you liked from Mouser...

I have the same monitor and the same issue...my caps are on the way. This thread has been very helpful thanks!

One question though...Was just looking at the back of my board and noticed the soldier on the one side of the bad cap is touching the terminal next to it...

I've had the monitor for years w/o issue...just started smoking yesterday...could this have gotten so hot it soldiered itself to the one next...
